Hi, I’m Matt.

I am a visual storyteller in Gainesville, Florida, where I split my time between professional creative work and personal storytelling projects rooted in Florida’s landscape.

For over a decade, I’ve designed brand identities and collateral for organizations that serve people and communities. In my personal time, I explore Florida’s backroads, documenting its changing landscape.

I’ve worked as a photographer, graphic designer, and creative director. But while the medium changes, the goal has always been the same: to create work that helps people see and, hopefully, care.

Recently, I’ve been exploring and documenting the Ocklawaha River, one of Florida’s oldest and most endangered rivers. For decades, it’s been at the center of a controversy to remove a dam and return it to its natural state.
